A long line of French soccer fans waited outside the PSG club’s store on the Champs-Elysees on August 11, hoping to get their hands on a Messi shirt after men’s sizes quickly sold out online.
Lionel Messi agreed to a two-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain on August 10, after leaving Barcelona when the club was unable to afford a new deal under La Liga’s financial fair play rules.
The 34-year-old will wear a No 30 jersey with his new club. Similar shirts were available only in women’s and kids’ sizes at the online PSG store on the morning of August 11.
