The Independent High Electoral Commission announced Today, Tuesday, the mechanism for the movement of International Observer Delegation while monitoring the electoral process.
IHEC spokeswoman Jumana Al-Ghalay told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the Supreme Security Committee for Elections is tasked to provide security for the movement of International Observer and their access to the electoral centers.
Al-Ghalay pointed out that the deployment of the International Observer Delegation will be in coordination with IHEC, through the development of a map to clarify the number of polling stations places, and therefore they will have the option to head towards any center or station they wish to monitor the electoral process in it.
Meanwhile, the advisor to the Prime Minister, Hussein Al-Hendawi, has revealed a plan of UN Security Council regarding international election observers.
Al-Hindawi said: UNSC has taken a decision to send international observers for the elections, noting that UNSC is studying the decision and the mechanism for its implementation.
