SMC: a pre-emptive operation resulted the killing of a terrorist in Kirkuk

The Security Media Cell announced on Saturday the killing of a terrorist in a preemptive operation in Kirkuk province.

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), SMC stated that according to an accurate intelligence information, and within the continuous security efforts of the Federal Police forces in carrying out preemptive and pursuing operations to defeat the terrorist gangs, the units of the 5^th Division of Federal Police with a force from the 18^th brigade and the detachments of The Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigations (AIFI) , carried out a qualitative security operation.

SMC also added that the operation resulted in the killing of the terrorist nicknamed (Abu Qaiser) after setting up a tight ambush and besieging him in the village of (Lsan) in Al-Rashad district, southwest of Kirkuk.
