Among the ancient alleys that carry between their corroded walls the remnants of tales that told by narrow railings, the houses are still standing despite their age, some of which exceeds more than a hundred years.
On the other side of the holy city of Kadhimiya, which is frequented by thousands of visitors daily, is another story that many do not know, a story whose fragmented images are still stuck at the edges of every alley, street and house, bearing a historical trace that extends to the depth of the inhabitants of those alleys.
The Iraqi News Agency (INA) toured between the alleys of the old Kadhimiya to document through its lens the life in its old homes, which still embody the eras of time that affect the sanctity of the city and the large number of its visitors, and it has maintained its identity despite the modernity that has occurred in the surrounding areas of this holy city.
