Baghdad - INA
The Ministry of Oil expected, on Sunday, a rise in prices to $80 a barrel.
Ministry spokesman, Assem Jihad, said in a statement to Al-Iraqiya News, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "We are optimistic about the rise in prices, but we are counting on its stability," expecting that "prices will exceed 70 dollars and reach 80 dollars per barrel."
He added, "The oil price is monthly, not daily, through a joint committee headed by the Minister of Oil," noting that "our goal is to export oil to all global markets in America, Asia, Europe and Asia."
