MOH: new contract to increase the supply COVID-19 vaccines

Ministry of Health and Environment announced on Tuesday   contracting to purchase large quantities of COVID-19 vaccines, while revealing its plan to increase the number of vaccine recipients.
The Director General of Public Health at the Ministry, Riyad Abdul Amir, stated in an exclusive statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The ministry has contracted to purchase large quantities of COVID-19 vaccines from COVAX and Pfizer. 
In a related issue, Abdel Amir explained that the MOH has prepared a plan to Speed up the strategy for distributing the vaccine through easy access and availability in all health centers.
The ministry will open vaccination sessions in workplaces in various state institutions in order to facilitate the vaccination process for citizens, Abdel Amir added.
It is noteworthy, MOH announced earlier that it had reached advanced stages in launching what it called the International Document for Immunization from Corona virus, and it will be officially announced soon upon its completion.
