    Maysan Governor Ali Daway stressed the need for tolerance between religions and components to live in more harmony, friendliness and cooperation for the development of peace in the country  .

    And the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "Daway, the people of the Mandaean sect participated in the celebrations on the occasion of the opening of a number of special projects, including the rehabilitation of the Mandaean temple and the Sabean Mandaean building, in addition to a statue of the physicist Dr. "Abdul-Jabbar Abdullah" on the corniche of the city of Amara ."

    They added, "Daway stressed in his speech during the ceremony the need for tolerance between religions and components, and to live in more harmony, friendliness and cooperation in order to develop peace, security and prosperity throughout Iraq," expressing his wish "permanent happiness and success and an active role to build a country in which the rights of all are preserved and enjoyed." His sons from all sects and nationalities with justice, equality and peace .”
