MOF denies a statement attributed to its minister regarding dollar exchange rate

Ministry of Finance denied a statement attributed to its minister over the dollar exchange rate.

MOF clarified  in a statement to Iraqi News Agency (INA), that what was circulated  by media and some  news agencies on  a statement attributed to the Minister of Finance, Abdul Amir Allawi over, (the real value of the 100 dollars to the Iraqi dinar is 300 thousand dinars), is devoid of truth.

Such irresponsible statements and news aim to destabilize the economic situation and confuse public opinion, calling for adopting reliable news and information from official sources, the statement added.
