ICAA discussing a new mechanism for licensing Iraqi airports

The head of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority Nael Saad Abdul Hadi, on Sunday, to discuss a new mechanism for licensing Iraqi airports.

Abdul Hadi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Today, the nature of the new procedures for licensing Iraqi airports operating in the country was discussed with the directors of Iraqi airports."

As the Assistant Director-General for Iraqi Airports Affairs Ali Muhammad Taqi stated, "The Civil Aviation Authority is committed to implementing all the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization lCAO," noting that "this comes in preparation for the audit program (USOAP) prepared by the authority for the purpose of preparing airports and their work within contexts.
