JOC: new plan to redeploy Coalition Forces from Iraq.

    Joint Operation Command revealed, today, Saturday, a new plan to redeploy Coalition combat forces outside Iraq.

    JOC mentioned in a statement that Iraqi News Agency (INA) received "that the first meeting of , senior Iraqi military technical committee, headed by Staff Lt. Gen.Abd AL-Amir AL-SHammari , deputy commander of the Joint Operation Command , and a US military commander of the Joint Operation Command , and a US military delegation , headed by Lt. Gen. Paul  Calvert , commander of the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve , met in Baghdad, Iraq for the first in a series of Security Technical Talks following the 7 April US-Iraq Strategic Dialogue meeting"
     
    The statement  also added that " the US military delegation affirmed its respect for Iraqi sovereignty and that the US led Coalition is in Iraq at the request of the Iraqi government to advice, assist, and enable the enduring defeat of ISIS".  

    The two sides agreed on a framework for future meetings to discuss the long-term security partnership between the two sovereign nations. They also agreed on developing a working plan to implement the outcome of the US-Iraq Strategic Dialogue .This plan is to be prepared by the next meeting that will be held in Baghdad or Washington , in July or August , and shall include specific mechanisms and timings to complete the redeployment of combat forces belonging to the International Coalition from Iraq.
