A British press report revealed today, Sunday, a new development regarding the future of Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani, Manchester United striker, during the next season.
According to the British newspaper "The Sun", Manchester United offered Cavani a salary increase of 2.5 million pounds over what he is currently earning with the Red Devils, to persuade him to stay for another season. "
The Sun pointed out that "Cavani gets 200,000 pounds a week, and Manchester United plans to raise his salary to 500,000 pounds."
The Sun also explained that "Cavani reduced his salary by 35% when he arrived at Old Trafford in a free deal last summer, but he received a signing bonus of 6 million pounds."
