The Ministry of Health and Environment confirmed that assessing the country's epidemiological situation needs a longer period to monitor the gradual decline in infections, while calling on everyone to go to official centers to receive the vaccine .
Ministry spokesman Saif Al-Badr told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "There is a gradual decrease in the number of injuries during the past days," calling for "not to rush to assess the epidemiological situation, and we need a longer time."
He added that "the issue of the decline in the number of injuries depends on citizens' commitment to preventive and health measures and taking the vaccine," stressing that "all citizens must take the vaccine from its official sources."
He pointed out that "taking the vaccine does not mean not wearing masks and neglecting preventive and health measures," stressing that "the demand for vaccinations during the past few days has witnessed a remarkable increase."
