    Basra Governorate witnessed the inauguration ceremony of Saint Firas Dardar as Patriarchs of Basra, Maysan and the Arabian Gulf.

    The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "the inauguration ceremony witnessed the participation of the Syriac Catholic Patriarch in the world, Mar Youssef III, where ceremonies and rituals were held, attended by priests and members of the Syriac Catholic community, Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Vian Faiq and Governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani ."
