Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi directed today, Sunday, all ministries to provide assistance to the families of the martyrs of Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital.
Al-Kadhimi said during the cabinet session, "We direct all ministries to provide assistance to the families of the martyrs of Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital."
He added, "We are directing to transfer the wounded in the Ibn Al-Khatib fire accident who need treatment out of Iraq."
And Al-Kadhimi stated that "the transfer of the wounded is carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Transport by providing the means for transporting them, and health is playing its role in providing all the requirements, and financial by providing the necessary funds."
The Council of Ministers decided, during its special session held today, against the background of the Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital fire incident, to withdraw the hand of the Minister of Health, the Governor of Baghdad and the Director of Al-Rusafa Health and refer them to the investigation in the background of the incident of Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad.
