The Security Media Cell announced, today, Thursday, the return of displaced persons from the Kurdistan region to Zammar and Sinjar.
The cell stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the security forces of the West Nineveh Operations Command have begun to return displaced persons from the Iraqi Kurdistan region to Zummar and Sinjar district, and the total number of families returned by the 15th division is 3,741 families, and the 20 division has returned. 3706 families, indicating that “the security forces are continuing to clear all villages to complete the return of the displaced.”
