IHEC: Next October is the elections date

The Independent High Electoral Commission confirmed today, Sunday, that the tenth of next October is an inevitable date for holding the elections.
The Commission said in its weekly conference, of which the Iraqi News Agency (INA) received a copy, that "the scheduled date for holding the parliamentary elections on 10/10/2021 is an inevitable and irreversible date."
She pointed out, "The Commission continues the process of registering political parties and organizations, as establishment licenses have been granted to (253) political parties, and the number of registration requests for parties that are under incorporation has reached about (63) applications."
