Minister of Planning, Khaled Battal, announced that the contracting sector in Iraq is a solid sector and an effective participant in achieving development, while he congratulated Iraq’s victory, headed by the Arab Contractors Union.
A statement by the Ministry of Planning, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said today, Thursday, that "Minister Khaled Battal Al-Najm emphasized that the contracting sector in Iraq is one of the important and sober sectors, on which many depend on achieving development goals, and this came during the congratulations he sent to the President Iraqi Contractors Union Ali Fakher Al-Senafi, on the occasion of his winning the position of President of the Arab Contractors Union in its second session.
The Minister of Planning added, according to the statement, "The Iraqi contractor’s victory, with the confidence of the Arab contractor, confirms the strength and sobriety of the contracting sector, and its great ability to compete in Arab and international forums, noting that" the Ministry of Planning pays special attention to this sector, through its support and empowerment.
