The Iraqi Artists Syndicate organized a memorial pause to recall the deceased artists since the beginning of the year 2020 until now.
In an interview with the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the head of the Artists Syndicate, Jabbar Judi Al-Aboudi, said: “The Syndicate organized a memorial pause, through which they lit candles to remember the late artists,” indicating that “the Tigris beach from the side of the union building was crowded with a crowd of artists present.”
For her part, Vice President Asia Kamal affirmed that "death is a right for everyone, and the history of Iraqi and Arab culture will not forget the creators no matter how long it takes, indicating that" the organization of the candlelit stand on the shore of the Tigris is an extension of the horizons of the coming time that confirms the presence of the departed with their work and their aesthetic exploits. "
