British Queen Elizabeth II announced that her husband, Prince Philip, died at the age of 100.
In a statement issued by Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth confirmed that "Prince Philip died peacefully Friday morning at Windsor Palace."
The marriage between Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip lasted 73 years.
