The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naim Al-Ghazi, discussed today, Thursday, with the relevant authorities, the stages of implementing ministerial infrastructure projects in the districts of Dhi Qar Governorate, and their aspects, and determining the timelines for their completion.
A statement by the General Secretariat received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that “Al-Ghazi called on the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Works, Public Municipalities and Implementing Companies, to accelerate the pace of work and double efforts to complete the projects of Nasiriyah, Shatrah, Al-Rifa’i and Al-Shuyoukh sewers, and bring them into action, especially after the House of Representatives vote The general federal budget law of the Republic of Iraq for the year 2021, and the approaching launch of late financial allocations, and then start implementing the projects included in the province's reconstruction period.
He stressed, "The executing company of the Shatra sewers project, the necessity of resolving the problems that caused the obstruction of the stages of work, the delay in the completion of other projects that are to be implemented within the judiciary, and the commitment to the timelines that have been determined, stressing the provision of the necessary facilities to grant entry visas to the engineering staff to Iraq, and that the Secretariat of the General Council of Ministers continues to coordinate efforts with the relevant authorities to facilitate administrative and technical procedures.
