He added, "Since the beginning of the virus outbreak, the Ministry of Health has not failed in its duty and worked side by side with the World Health Organization, and large numbers of infected citizens in hospitals have been responded to, and it has contracted with many companies to supply vaccines."
He pointed out that "the vaccine is currently available in Iraq, where the first batch was 50 thousand doses, and the second 336 thousand," stressing that "millions of doses will reach Iraq in the coming days."
He pointed out that "there can be no mobile teams for vaccinations, because when a citizen receives the vaccine, he must be under supervision for 20 to 30 minutes before going home," explaining that "vaccines must be distributed to 666 medical facilities designated for this purpose."
He stressed that "if the infection rate continues to rise, there will be more deaths, and this threatens the health centers to absorb the new numbers."
