Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, confirmed today, Sunday, that the doors of Iraq are open to Emirati businessmen and companies.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that Al-Kadhimi met, at his residence in the United Arab Emirates, a group of Emirati companies and businessmen."
Al-Kadhimi said, during the meeting, that "Iraq has gone through difficult and complicated circumstances that have delayed development and services," noting that "Iraq is the cradle of civilizations and the great diversity that represents an element of strength for us, deserving of efforts to serve its citizens."
He explained, "The Iraqi government has taken bold measures in the financial sector, economy and development, and there is a gradual recovery of the Iraqi economy," referring to "the reform paper that was prepared to reform the private sector and provide all facilities for it."
He stressed, "The doors of Iraq are open to Emirati companies and businessmen," explaining that "several measures have been taken to reduce bureaucracy and overcome obstacles in front of companies."
