Inter are set to officially unveil their new kit on Tuesday, with work already underway to overhaul the club’s brand and name.
The Nerazzurri announced earlier this year that the crest would be undergoing a makeover, and as reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the change will come into action on Tuesday.
As part of a project to promote the club as ‘Inter Milano’ to overseas markets, the new crest will focus heavily on an ‘I’ and ‘M’, whilst dropping ‘F’ and ‘C’ entirely.
All new official kits and merchandise from next season will also feature the new logo, and a large emblem of the old badge has already been taken down from Inter’s headquarters at Viale della Liberazione.
The new logo will be the 15th in Inter’s history since it’s inception in 1902 and the Nerazzurri will be hoping to mark the change with success on the pitch, with Antonio Conte’s side currently six points clear at the top of Serie A.
