Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Hassan Al-Tamimi expressed today, Friday, his fear of an increase in Corona infections during the visit the religious Shabaniyah in the holy Karbala Governorate.
Al-Tamimi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We have noticed great suffering for our health staff in dealing with citizens because of their lack of compliance with health instructions and wearing masks, and we fear that virus infections will increase, especially since we are on the verge of a massive popular visit."
He pointed out that "the health institutions in Karbala are ready to receive visitors on the popular visit after the financial allocations and the required treatments were provided, including the first batch of vaccines that the ministry contracted to provide."
