Minister of Health and Environment, Hassan Muhammad Al-Tamimi, instructed health teams to conduct surveys for Coronavirus in villages and rural areas.
"This came to increase the rate of infections and indicate the infection of entire families as a result of their failure to comply with health instructions," the ministry included, in a brief statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), on Monday.
The minister directed that the New Mandali Hospital is to be put into operation as of Wednesday, March 24.
Earlier today, Monday, the Ministry announced that it detected 4655 new cases of coronavirus, 29 deaths, and 4088 recovered cases.
