The Minister of Education, Ali Hamid al-Dulaimi, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Syrian Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Muhammad Samer al-Khalil, which includes the exchange of experiences in the scientific and educational fields, the provision of technical and engineering services, and the restoration of schools to contribute to the development of the educational process between the two brotherly countries.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the media office of the Ministry of Education stated, "Al-Dulaimi confirmed that signing the memorandum is a step in the right direction to qualify and develop the capabilities of teachers, exchange experiences, contribute to the restoration of schools and support the educational and educational process in the two countries."
He added, "The memorandum will be put into effect when the legal procedures for both countries are completed," noting that "it will remain valid for a period of five years, which can be extended."
