Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi stressed, today, Tuesday, the need for a frank, transparent and responsible dialogue to stop the cycle of sad days, while noting that dialogue is the only way to build the state and deepen its values.
The media office of the prime minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Prime Minister Mustafa Al- Kadhimi received, today, Tuesday, a number of Halabja deputies, to commemorate the third anniversary after the thirtieth of the tragedy of the crime of bombing Halabja with chemical weapons during the era of dictatorship and tyranny.”
At the outset of the meeting, Al- Kadhimi stressed that "our people have shared the harsh and sad days, not only in the stage of the dictatorial regime, but also in the subsequent eras," noting that "the pain must stop in Iraq and we should make hope an alternative to it."
Al-Kadhimi stressed "the need for the future of our people's generations to be better than their past," pointing out that "the responsibility for this transformation rests on our shoulders and every person who faces the responsibility."
