Joint Operations Command confirmed securing of more than 450 km of Iraq-Syria borders.
"In cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and other ministries, in addition to the Popular Mobilization Forces, the remaining 610 kilometers of the Iraqi-Syrian borders are being secured and preventing the infiltration of terrorists," said the spokesman of the joint ops, Major General Tahsin Al-Khafaji, to Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The security forces, in cooperation with the international coalition, were able to thwart the infiltration of terrorists through northeastern Syria by installing towers, thermal cameras, in addition to drones.
