Election Commission: PM directed the extension of the biometric registration period

The Election Commission announced the extension of registration of political alliances.
A statement by the Commission received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that “the Board of Commissioners decided to extend the registration period for political alliances wishing to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections, to allow more room for review and registration,” indicating that “the period will end with a subsequent decision by the Board of Commissioners.”
