Director of the General Company for Medicines Industry in Samarra, Abdul Hamid Al-Salem, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The staff of the Baghdad Medical Gases Factory of the General Company for Medicines and Medical Supplies in Samarra recorded the production of 298,450 liters of liquid and medical oxygen for the period from June 13. 2020 until October 31 of this year. "

He added that "80 thousand packages of medicinal alcohol were produced, for the period from mid-August to the end of October 2020."

He explained that "SDI has contributed significantly to providing sterile materials and medical oxygen since the beginning of the Corona pandemic crisis in mid-February 2020 and continues to prepare to eradicate the epidemic."
