Today, Saturday, Minister of Transport Nasser Hussein Al-Shibli revealed his ministry's measures to support the Iraqi aviation sector.
Al-Shibli said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Ministry of Transport has taken a set of measures to support the transport sector, including communicating with the International Aviation Organization and the regional office in Cairo and re-repairing communications on the western side, which have been cut off since 2014, which has strengthened Confidence in the passage of aircraft in Iraqi airspace, and among the procedures is concern for highly qualified observers to monitor the airspace, especially in high-altitude aircraft and speak English, "noting that" these measures will give airlines confidence in passing Iraqi airspace. "
