Ministry of Industry: Manufacture of ultraviolet sterilization equipment

 Today, Friday, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced the manufacture of a UV sterilizer.

 A statement of the Ministry's media office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries has succeeded in manufacturing a UV sterilizer," noting that "the device sterilizes a number of materials and tools, including tools, surgical instruments, and mobile devices."  , Tablets, masks, devices, and personal tools, such as glasses, a watch, and others. It can also be used to sterilize banknotes, documents, and administrative books, provided that it is exposed to lighting directly.

 He explained that "the way the device works is to place the material to be sterilized in the middle of the device, and the time required for sterilization is determined according to the quality of the material, as the time required to sterilize smooth surfaces is 30 seconds, after which the start switch is pressed for the counter," stressing that "the company devoted its capabilities and energies from  In order to manufacture the supplies and requirements for preventing the Corona epidemic, including fumigation rooms for people, and portable air sterilizer, in addition to its great efforts in providing medical oxygen to hospitals and citizens, on a daily basis.
