The Parliamentary Services Committee considered investment an alternative solution to finance strategic projects in light of the financial crisis, pointing out that "attracting investors needs to issue several decisions."
Member of the Committee, MP Hussein Arab told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Monday, that "Iraq is going through an economic crisis that affected vital projects," noting that "investment can be an alternative solution to finance strategic projects."
He pointed out "the necessity of changing the path of the federal budget by activating the investment side in it to finance projects," stressing that "attracting investors needs several decisions that include creating the appropriate environment for investment and a safe environment for it and setting the necessary facilities for the local or foreign investor."
