Today, Monday, President of the Republic Barham Salih discussed with the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Al-Kaabi the developments of the political, security and economic situation in the country.

A statement by the Presidency of the Republic received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the President of the Republic received at the Peace Palace in Baghdad the first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives."

He added that "the meeting discussed developments in the political, security and economic situation in the country, and the efforts made by state agencies to address the Corona pandemic."
