Ministry of Health announced the 1826 new cases of COVID-19 and the recovery of 968 cases.
The ministry stated in its daily epidemiological report; the Iraqi News Agency (INA) received; that it tested 10672 in all the specialized labs in Iraq for this day; thus the total number of the examined cases since the beginning of pandemic in Iraq reached 465988.
The new 1826 cases in Iraq distributed as follows, Baghdad / Rusafa 169, Baghdad / Karkh 402, Medical City 15, Al-Najaf 76, Sulaymaniyah 262, Erbil 34, Duhok 3, Karbala 54, Kirkuk 50, Diyala 39, Wasit 38, Babylon 45, Basra 138, Maysan 105, Al-Diwaniyah 125, Dhi Qar 225, Anbar 15, Nineveh 5 and Saladin 26.
The statement ncluded that the 968 new cases of recovery where as follows, Baghdad Rusafa 162, Baghdad, Karkh 119, Medical City 10, Najaf 88, Sulaymaniyah 4, Erbil 12, Kirkuk 19, Karbala 86, Diyala 2, Wasit 91, Basra 10, Maysan 92, Babylon 51, Dhi Qar 177, Anbar 9, Nineveh 9, Salah al-Din 8 and Muthanna 19.
The death cases for this day reached 84 cases distributed as follows, Baghdad Rusafa 23, Baghdad Al-Karkh 13, Medical City 1, Najaf 2, Sulaymaniyah 5, Erbil 3, Karbala 3, Kirkuk 4, Diyala 3, Wasit 3, Basra 3, Maysan 2, Babylon 1, Diwaniyah 6, Dhi Qar 8, Anbar 2 and Salah al-Din 2.
The statement also included a total status as the following;
Total infected cases: 34,502
Total recoveries: 15,753
Total sleepers: 17498
Intensive care: 283
Total deaths: 1251
