Minister of Planning Khalid Battal Al-Najim met Egypt Ambassador Alaa El-Din Abdel-Moneim Mohamed Moussa, and the United States Ambassador Matthew Toller in two separate meetings and discussed a number of issues related to improving the bilateral relations and means of developing them, in the economic, investment, commercial and exchange of experiences.
The ambassadors said, "They are here on the occasion of his assumption of the position of Minister of Planning, after the confidence-grant by the Iraqi parliament, and confirmed the willingness of their countries to provide all kinds of possible support to the Iraqi government, to help them in facing the current economic crisis and the Corona pandemic, included a statement by the media office of the Minister of Planning received by Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement pointed out that "during the meeting, a number of issues relating to improving the level of bilateral relations and ways of developing them were discussed in the economic, investment and commercial fields and exchange of experiences,"
For his part, the Minister of Planning appreciated the support provided by the governments of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States of America to Iraq, pointing to the challenges facing the work of the current government, and the need to work to confront it by enhancing joint cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries.
