UK ambassador affirms his country's readiness to support Al-Kadhemi government

UK Ambassador to Iraq, Steve Hickey, affirmed his country's readiness to provide support to the government of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhemi in facing challenges.

In a tweet on his Twitter account, he said that he congratulated Mustafa Al- Kadhemi for his assumption of the post of Prime Minister, pointing out that "the United Kingdom stands ready to support the Al- Kadhemi government to fight Corona virus, work on economy and security reform, as well as in combating Daesh,"

He continued: "I look forward to working with you and your government to continue the strong partnership between our two countries"
