The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan revealed the most prominent negotiations of the Kurdish delegation with the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhmi in Baghdad.
The representative of the Union bloc, Taha Hamad Amin, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the Kurdish delegation had direct and indirect contacts with the Prime Minister-designate on handing the region 250 thousand barrels to SOMO Company in exchange for receiving his full dues from the budget.
He added, that Al-Kadhmi showed flexibility for the current agreements between Baghdad and Erbil in this regard, pointing out that the Kurdish delegation also discussed with officials in the federal government several issues, including the budget and low oil prices, and the results of the meetings were good.
He pointed out that the Kurdistan Regional Council of Ministers will meet today, Wednesday, to discuss the results of the meetings of the Kurdish delegation with the federal government and will announce its decisions in this regard.
Amin pointed out that some media circulated a book issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers stating the government's request from the Ministry of Finance to stop financial allocations to the Kurdistan region.
