The first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Hassan Al-Kaabi, warned today, Wednesday, against the return of the activity of Daesh terrorist gangs by exploiting the security "laxity" and focusing on combating the threat of the Corona epidemic.
"Today, Wednesday, 8 April 2020, Al-Kaabi sent a message of condolence to the leadership of the Peshmerga forces in the Kurdistan region, for the martyrdom of two members of their forces during an attack launched by Daesh terrorists in the Karmyan region last night," the media office of Al-Kaabi said in a statement.
Al-Kaabi stressed, according to the statement, that "the enemies of Iraq, especially Daesh gangs, do not target a component or one party without another," stressing "the importance of joint action and coordination of efforts between the various security forces and Peshmerga forces against Daesh movements."
