The Prime Minister-designate, Adnan Al-Zurfi, discussed today, Wednesday, with the Minister of Finance Fouad Hussein, the developments of the political, security and economic situation.

The media office of the Prime Minister-designate said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zurfi received Finance Minister Fouad Hussein, and during the meeting they discussed the developments of political, economic and financial conditions and the effects of the Corona pandemic on the economy in Iraq and the countries of the world." .

The statement added, "The financial situation of the country was examined, the implications of low oil prices and the measures to be taken to secure the necessary needs during the coming period."
