Salih stresses the need to support vulnerable families

Today, Thursday, President of the Republic Barham Salih stressed the need to secure the ration card items and support needy families.

The media of the President of the Republic stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the President of the Republic received at the Peace Palace, in Baghdad today, the Ministers of Trade Muhammad Hashem Al-Ani, Labor and Social Affairs in the name of Abdul-Zaman."

The President of the Republic supported "the need to continue providing foodstuffs in the local markets, securing the ration items for the citizens, and expediting the payment of social protection salaries so that they contribute to the chain of support to support the needy families and enhance the forms of solidarity within Iraqi society."
