Baghdad - INA - safe Salami
Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Agriculture announces the formation of an operations room to control locust swarms, in connection with the fact that these swarms were not carried out on agricultural crops in Iraqi regions.
The spokesman for the ministry, Hamid Nayef Al-Masoudi, told the Iraqi news (INA): "The Desert Locust organization in the world was informed that locust swarms do not represent a line on its soil, but the ministry that produces the necessary."
This is that "the Ministry is fully prepared to face any danger and has taken the necessary precautions by the Plant Protection Department, while pesticides have provided preventive efforts to prevent the risk of entering its entry."
And that is because "the ministry has high coordination with the governorates that are exposed to locust swarms in cooperation with the security forces and managed to remove the danger to the borders," pointing out that "locust swarms are few and no agricultural crop has yet been affected."
