The General Company for Iraqi Railways, one of the formations of the Ministry of Transport, has announced the suspension of the movement of passenger and descending trains from Baghdad to Basra and back, starting today, Saturday.
The company stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "this decision was part of taking the necessary preventive measures and avoiding the repercussions of the spread of Corona virus, in order to ensure the safety of foreign citizens and departures by rail trains."
