The Mayoralty of Baghdad announced the shutdown of water cities, public swimming pools, amusement spots and parks, as of current Monday’s evening.
"The closure started with the places where people usually are crowded as a precautionary measure to limit the spread of the new Coronavirus until next Saturday," the secretariat stated in a statement to Iraqi News Agency INA.
The statement included that it directed its municipal departments to implement the directives issued by the crisis cell in the Ministry of Health in order to preserve the safety of citizens and to prevent this disease.
