Ministry of Agriculture: Production of over 10 million eggs in the holy city of Karbala

A ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated, "The Karbala Agricultural Directorate produced more than 10 million table eggs through poultry projects in the governorate during the month of January, where quantities of eggs were produced through (7) poultry projects, indicating It was established by the system of cage cages with an annual production capacity of more than (150) million eggs, as the number of chicks involved in these projects reached more than (790) thousand chicks in the production and breeding stage in order to meet the need of the local market in the province.

He added that "the Karbala Agriculture Directorate marketed more than (2) million kilograms of poultry meat to local markets during the month of January, through the number of (55) poultry projects operating in the province."
