Walt Disney and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has earned a still-potent $361 million domestic and $724.8 million worldwide cume in just under two weeks of global theatrical release.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker earned $72 million in its second weekend of domestic release. That’s -59.4% from its $177.383 million opening, giving it a still-strong $361.8 million ten-day total. That’s slightly under the $368 million ten-day cume for The Last Jedi.

That Star Wars sequel infamously tumbled 67% in its second weekend (partially because the holiday break didn’t start until its second Monday) for a $71 million Fri-Sun frame and $368 million ten-day cume off a $220 million opening weekend.

It lost a whopping $149 million between its first and second weekends, while Rise of Skywalker lost “only” $105 million. Yes, for better or worse, Star Wars IX has become the latest member of the “$100 million losers club.”
