Economic Committee in the Parliament confirmed the efforts of movements to restart the parked factories and protect the local product by imposing taxes on imported products.
“The Committee seeks to support the national product and move towards closed factories, in addition to working to protect the local product by imposing taxes on imported products available locally to end in the markets," Committee member Nada Shaker Jawdat told Iraqi News Agency - INA.
