The President of the Arab Parliament announces the allocation of the year 2020 to support the Arabic language

The President of the Arab Parliament, Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami, announced today, Wednesday, the allocation of the year 2020 to support the Arabic language and take a number of steps through the system of legislations issued by Parliament, particularly the document on developing education in the Arab world.

The Speaker of Parliament said in a statement on the occasion of the International Day of the Arabic Language: Parliament and its competent committees are working to issue three Arab guiding laws to achieve these goals, including an Arab guiding law to combat illiteracy, encourage reading, and promote the Arabic language in the Arab least developed countries.
