Al-Sadiqoun Bloc statement about the American Treasury’s decisions

Al-Sadiqoun Parliamentary Bloc issued a statement regarding the American treasury’s decisions that targeted to the General Secretary of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq Sheikh Qais Khazali.

A statement issued by Al-Sadiqoun bloc included that it followed through the media, the decisions of the so-called American Treasury, which targeted the General Secretary of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq Sheikh Qais Khazali.

The bloc renewed its adherence in its jihad project to resist the American influence that seeks to crush and colonize peoples again in addition to work on besiege the role of the American government in confusing the internal situation of Iraq.

According to the statement, “the decisions of the so-called American Treasury are blatant and childish interference in Iraqi internal affairs and no party except the Iraqi judiciary and the internal competent authorities have the right to impose sanctions on Iraqi citizens.

"It is a pledge by the Iraqi people that such decisions will only increase the determination and strength to complete the jihad and reform project that we took for ourselves from the beginning," included the statement.

The bloc confirmed its continuation in the approach of reform and development of the country's political system, fighting corruption and “closing the door for those waiting to topple the country's democratic system to implement American and foreign agendas with the aim of inserting Iraq into chaos and permanent tension”

The statement included the call on the international community “to stand in front of the provocative activities carried out by the US government aimed at personalities known to resist the reckless behaviour of the US government in Iraq and the Middle East"
