PM Office releases a statement regarding US Vice President visit

INA – BAGHDAD

PM Media Office released a statement regarding the Visit of US Vice President Mike Pence to Iraq and the phone call between him and the PM Adel Abdul Mahdi.

The visit of Mike Pence was agreed on by the two sides where he checked the situations of the US troops in the Lion Eye Military Base of the US-Led International Coalition that is supporting Iraqi Forces in fighting Daesh terrorist groups.

Mike is supposed to visit Erbil too and made a call with PM Adel Abdul Mahdi to discuss the bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in addition to the recent updates in the country and the efforts of the government to make reforms in response to the demands of the protests.

Mike delivered US president Donald Trump regards and the continuation of cooperation between the two countries.
